From Urgency to Impact - Finding Our Way in the Climate Crisis:
We look at resources in Jewish tradition and text for support as we respond to the climate crisis as individuals and as a Jewish community.
Rabbi Julie Saxe-Taller is the Lead Organizer for RAC-CA, the California Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism, where she works with clergy, congregational leaders and coalition partners to build power to implement just public policies in California and beyond. From 2004-2017, she served as a rabbi at Congregation Sherith Israel in San Francisco. She also served on the Bay Area council of Bend the Arc and was a co-chair of the J Street Rabbinic Cabinet. Rabbi Saxe-Taller's original prayer melodies are available at https://www.juliesaxetaller.com/, and her chapter, "Waking Up to Climate Change" is in the new Social Justice Torah Commentary.

Jewish Parenting in a Time of Crisis (for parents of all ages from birth through young adults):
The climate crisis is one of several major upheavals that are shaping the world in which we and our children live. These challenges demand action as well as thoughtful parenting. There is no mold or formula to follow, but Jewish tradition offers wisdom, structure, and spiritual resource to support us and our families.
