About Us
Beit Haverim was founded in 1992 so that families and individuals might experience the sense of Jewish belonging that comes from shared worship, religious instruction, Tikkun Olam, and social events at a location not too far from home.
Beit Haverim is a dynamic Reform congregation, with an open, inviting, and spiritually-alive Jewish community. We welcome people all along the Jewish spectrum. Membership and participation in our congregation is open to Jews by Birth, Jews by Choice, Jews at Heart, and anyone with a connection to Judaism.
At Beit Haverim, we are committed to the principle of inclusion, not exclusion.
Interfaith Families
We welcome interfaith families to our congregation, and encourage the non-Jewish partner to participate in all aspects of temple life. You can participate in worship services, learn about Judaism, enroll your children in Religious School, take part in Ladies’ or Men’s Group activities, and get involved with one of our many committees. We offer interfaith weddings, baby namings, B’nai Mitzvah, funerals, and other important life-cycle events.
LGBTQ Families
Beit Haverim proudly welcomes LGBTQ Jews and their families to our community. We offer same-sex wedding ceremonies, along with other important life-cycle events, with caring clergy who want to help make your event meaningful, relevant, and inclusive.
