Shabbat
Friday Shabbat Services are held Friday evenings at 7PM and worship is led by Rabbi Alan Berg, Cantorial Soloist Ann Brown, and lay leadership when Rabbi Berg is not on schedule. See the Calendar for the schedule of Shabbat Service leadership.
Regular Shabbat Services begin at 7:00 with a potluck dessert Oneg, featuring homemade challah, following.
The Beit Haverim Choir, led by Judith Kleinstein and Allan Kalik, performs on special occasions throughout the year. New choir members are currently being accepted.
Periodically, we have a special Tot Shabbat that begins at 6:00 pm for our little ones. Even the youngest children are welcome to come. We have stories, music, challah and blessings.
These events give your child a sense of Shabbat in a pleasant environment, as well as a chance for you to celebrate Shabbat with your child and other young families at Beit Haverim.
See the Calendar for scheduled Family Potlucks.
