Scrip Fundraising at Beit Haverim/South Metro Jewish Congregation

The Religious School uses the $crip Fundraising Program to raise money for our Religious School students. $crip are gift certificates from local merchants, such as grocery stores, clothing stores, restaurants, or coffee stores. Even getting your car washed can help the Religious School earn money. Participating in this program is easy. Simply fill out a $crip order form at Religious School on Sunday, and your $crip will be delivered the following week. Or, purchase $crip from our stock on hand.

Don't have kids in Religious School? Download the following file: 2008 Scrip Form (pdf). Mail completed forms to Beit Haverim/SMJC at P.O. Box 258, West Linn, OR 97068. Make sure to enclose a check for the total amount, and a contact number. Robin will be in touch with you when your order is ready.

There are many ways to help out. You pay full price for the Gift Certificates that you buy; we purchase them at a percentage less than the face value. That's how we raise money for our children. You buy Gift Certificates for the items you want and need, and there's no cookie dough or magazine subscription to buy.

Also, did you know that your Albertsons Community Partners Card can be combined with your Albertsons Preferred Savings Card?

Simply go to www.albertsons.com and click onto "In the Community," then click on the Community Partners logo link. Once you log in with your Preferred Savings Card number, click on "Sign me up." You will be asked for the number on your Community Partners Card, 490001 16012.

After you have entered this information you will not need to carry your Community Partners Card with you every time you shop at Albertsons. It's all combined into one card.

We are also partnering with Safeway in the e-scrip program. Simply give your Safeway card number to a member of the Scrip Committee, and you've joined. Don't know your actual card number? Call (800) SAFEWAY, and they will supply it to you.
